WINGS’ 2008 Grants Luncheon was held June 28 at the Kings Room at St. Olaf College, and was filled to capacity. Attended by 92 people, the Grants Luncheon was not only a wonderful opportunity to see how our WINGS funds are being spent this year, but also a time to socialize and to meet individuals who benefit from programs for which we provide grants. More than 50 guests attended. Comments from grant recipients were energizing, and in some cases moving, as attendees heard about the impact WINGS funds make in the lives of women and children. From the luncheon, interest was generated in both individual and circle membership. Click on the Grants page to see a complete listing of all the 2008 grant recipients.
